The Complete Guide to Our Vehicle Import Process
Step 1: Vehicle Sourcing
We start by sourcing your ideal vehicle through our trusted network in South Africa and Thailand. Just share your preferred make, model, budget, and specs — we’ll handle the rest.
Step 2: Negotiation & Inspection
We negotiate the best deal on your behalf and carry out thorough pre-purchase inspections — verifying mileage, mechanical condition, accident history, and documentation. You receive inspection reports and images before any payment is made.
Step 3: First Payment – Vehicle Purchase
Once you approve the vehicle, you make the first payment (vehicle cost only). We then secure the unit and begin the export process.
Step 4: Documentation & Compliance
We process all export documentation including:
- SARPCO Police Clearance
- ITAC Export Permit
- SADC Certificate (where applicable)
This ensures full compliance for smooth cross-border movement.
Step 5: Customs Duty & Second Payment
We calculate and share customs duty amounts. Your second payment covers these duties. Once cleared, we prepare the vehicle for dispatch.
Step 6: Logistics & Delivery
We arrange safe, efficient delivery to your destination — Zimbabwe, Zambia, or Botswana — via car carrier or driver, based on your preference. Typical delivery takes 8–10 working days.
Step 7: Final Payment – Service Fee
After successful delivery, your final payment covers our service fee. We ensure full satisfaction before closing out the process.
Step 8: Registration & Handover
We assist with the final handover and registration process so you can drive away worry-free.
